A Good Fashion Mistake

 Have you ever made a mistake in cutting your fabrics or tracing them while preparing to sew a garment? Then just go with a two toned design if its possible and won't look too obvious. This is a collar shirt I sewed in sewing class with the guidance of my lovely teacher.  I made a mistake in tracing the shapes for each part of the garment when I placed the stencils on the wrong sides of the fabric.
If that happens which Im sure does, don't panic! Just chill and make it your own unique personal design. They will always look good especially if you make them two toned and they will also be very edgy as well and something that has never been seen before.  This is something you can also express your edgy personal style in and won't make you look like a fashion disaster.

I ended up color blocking this snake print collar shirt which everyone laughed at but loved and just called it a design.  So be prepared for ups and downs with anything and you'll be happier. This was just almost like laughing it off. So stay cool! Sometimes you can totally start a new design or be a trendsetter with this good mistake.
