Les Miserables Featurette: Costume Design

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSH_zhaMTw0

Hey guys,

Check out the link of costume designs for one of the latest movies, Les Miserables. I thought they were pretty fashionable.  This is one of the best movies of 2012- 2013. The costumes were what people wore in the 1800's during The French Revolution. They were combined of many social classes from the poor to the rich. It is interesting to see  how many social classes dressed. (Factory workers, Prostitutes, Street urchins and the rich). Its a movie that is definitely a must see.
I thought having the character inspired get up would be great since most of the fashion pieces are classic.
Keep on Styling!,

Here is an Eponine inspired outfit. Eponine is the daughter of the Thenardiers who mistreated Cosette as a child. Eponine grows from an arrogant well attired child to a selfless ragged barricade fighter. The shoes and the hat are so chic. But in the movie/musical she wears it more tattered looking and ragged as her family financially struggles after her parents inn loses goes bankrupt.  But I think the coat goes more well with pants or stockings and the skirt goes more well with the blouse itself.
I think I rather wear this outfit here due to the fact that is more of the colors I wear and its edginess. I insanely love this vest and the combat boots. This chic and edgy outfit is inspired by Enjolras, the leader of The Friends of Friends of the Abaisse. He is the one who starts singing the most memorable song "Do You Hear The People Sing?".
