Statement in a net

Dont you just love having a statement in the net? This is one way to not dress like everybody. Mesh never goes out of style and will always be in. Don't be afraid to stand out in your very own way. "You say Im eccentric?" " You say Im awkward?" " Well thats not my problem!" "Don't listen!" Just be yourself and people will come to you naturally without a force. I was recently called awkward by a random person who works in another store, directly in the face when we saw each other in the bathroom, that time I was hungover from a Ladies night out. I would have smashed her skull with the spikes on my Lita booties.  In my head I just said thats your opinion and I somewhat agreed and laughed with her after she said it. No one has ever done that to me so far, only her.  But Im glad to have friends by my side who would say don't feel too bad and don't listen.   Just like Taylor Swift "Shake it Off"

Lately everyone is just so self conscious which leads to nervousness. Loosen up and stay cool. Dont mind what others say about you. Just say that its their opinion as always.  Its a matter of life that there will always be people you get along with and some you don't get along well with. Ive been always told this since I was only 10 years old.  You just gotta know who your real friends are.

The skirt Im wearing in this picture is part of the statement collection from Something Borrowed clothing on ZALORA Singapore. This is by far my favorite brand on ZALORA and I just love supporting the gorgeous local designers.  Their collection has the most unique clothes ever in Singapore. Its a recommended edgy brand.

I am wearing a bomber jacket from Tomato that I bought in Manila back in December for only PHP 700.  My new body harness is from Lovisa, Orchard MRT station for only SGD$ 9. They are having a huge sale at the moment! So check it out!
This skirt was only SGD$ 13.90. I seriously couldn't resist when I saw it online. ZALORA is one of the safest and convenient online shopping ever with many payment options. I always choose to pick it up at 7-11.

I got these Jeffrey Campbell Lita boots for only SGD$ 50 from a seller on Carousell.  Despite it being second hand, its still very stable to walk in.  Jeffrey Campbell are my most favorite shoes to wear.

Stay Cool and express your fashion!,

Kitty Love

Meow Meow!! This was the last day of the Spring/Summer season. Wait it feels like its summer everyday in Singapore due to the really hot weather. It was comfortable dressing like this for work and also chic at the same time that I didn't feel so hot and too cold in the mall. This was also very easy to throw on, since I don't have much time to think about what to wear nowadays that I have 2 full day shifts in a row (11 hours each) and Ive also picked up a new hobby in Dragon Boat and Im part of the American Dragons team now which is a great work out that will toughen you up one day. Its also a great environment to make new friends.

I decided to mix and match my Love Love overalls which I bought as a set with a striped tee with my kitty cat shirt I bought separately. I also decided to tie my hair in a bow as much as Im inspired by Lady Gaga all the time. For a change I decided to wear a brooch on my collar instead of a bib necklace. Cats and dogs will always be my most favorite pets to own along with rabbits and guinea pigs. I have always been an animal lover all my life as I was part of Club Wild back in high school.

These Love Love Overalls with fastens are from SCAPE that I bought in a set for only SGD$ 16. I thought is was a great price for a stunning K-Pop inspired piece.
My brooch is from TOPSHOP at a buy 1 take 1 deal for SGD$ 13.

I got my kitty collar shirt from H&M during the SG50 sale for only SGD$ 12.90 (Original S$ 24.95)

This composition book clutch is from Macy's, Valley Fair Mall, San Jose  (Brand: Betsey Johnson) that was at a good deal for only USD$ 48. Thanks to my loving Aunt for making me use her coupons when I was in California back in July.

The 70's are back!

For the whole summer, I have been staying in with the 70's being back but wearing them in my very own style. Im happy to have found another way to pair my American Apparel lips top I bought from Citadel Outlets in Los Angeles, California. I had a great girls night out with two of my coolest College friends just after getting home from my vacation. I decided to wear something new, which are my flare laced pants. These pants are very convenient that I travelled very light in them when I went to California. I even wore them to Griffith Park and Hollywood boulevard. The 70's are back for the summer and I am loving it. It looks like they will be in style for quite sometime after observing this years F/W collection and next years S/S collection. These laced flary pants are from H&M that were only SGD$ 15 on sale. My pointed booties are also from H&M for only SGD$ 30. My hat is from H&M that was only SGD$ 20 on sale. I got this new Composition book purse at Macy's Valley Fair Mall in San Jose, California for only USD$ 48.

Lips are Movin

I decided to try out a new summer style for the month of July when I was in California, USA. I love the song by Meghan Trainor, Lips Are movin. This inspired me to wear this outfit while shopping towards our last day. This was taken at Gilroy Premium Outlets in the Bay Area. Its one of the best ones ever, next to Citadel Outlets in Los Angeles and Woodbury Common in upstate New York. I bought a number of stuff at a really great deal.

This is one of my fashion tips on how to travel light especially when you wanna shop overseas. This is the same thing Im gonna do for my upcoming Bangkok trip in January!

My lips crop top is from American Apparel at Citadel Outlets that were only USD$9.90. That is the best sweatshop free store ever.

My maxi skirt is from H&M at Citadel Outlets that were only USD$ 12.90.

I am carrying a bag from COACH Outlet for only USD$ 80 something.

Disneyland California

You can never go wrong with Disney. Disney parks are always the best next to Universal and Six Flags. I love any theme park in general as long as there are thrilling rides in them. I know this was 4 weeks ago, I have been very busy finding a job and working at the same part time job. I am not only in charged of operations, I am also in charged of the Social Media pages (Instagram and Facebook) Please follow us, @Raffles_privato_sg

I am happy to have finally gone to Disneyland again after more than 10 years. My friend and I bought the Park hopper pass for only USD$ 156. Its way more worth it than the day pass. It was fun going on California Screamin more than once and also the Tower Of Terror. Disney is never out of fashion, that I will love it all my life.

My outfit was comfortable enough to ride the rides in. Themed graphic tees or tanks are the best tops to wear to an amusement park.  My friend is also looking very chic in a boho crochet top from Forever 21.
At the main Disneyland Park

Disneys California Adventure: I was just impressed by the Minnie Mouse window display. Disney will always be in style.

DCA

I am wearing a Minnie Mouse graphic tee from MANGO that I bought for only S$ 19
This maxi polka dot skirt is from Bugis Street that was only S$ 10.  I love how they have Korean and Japanese style of clothes there at a cheap price.

My favorite Disney Princess since young.  #Ariel  This was the best kiddie ride Ive been on.

One of my closest friends from fashion camp (on the left side in the photo below)  back in 2012 was really nice enough to make these floral ears for me. Such artistic talents! Its vey useful for any halloween party or a club function.

With Flick from Bugs Life.  I have always been a fan of the Disney Pixar movies that I still watch them till now.

Best ride ever #HTH

Santa Monica Pier

Multi printed Top- Express, Fashion Island Mall (USD$ 16)

Cropped leather Palazzos- Editors Market, Orchard Central, Singapore (SGD$ 39)

Sandals- Marshall's, near San Juan Capistrano, California (USD$ 16.90)

I had a really big blast in Los Angeles, California. The Santa Monica Pier is one of the most iconic places in Los Angeles. I was always walking and staying up late, as much as I didn't have time to write when I was there. I had a great time meeting my old high school friend who is one of my best friends in life since 9th grade with her family I seriously cant thank enough for accommodating and treating me. The rides are really cool, but the beach was a little cold. So you really gotta find a really hot day to go. It was also great watching street dancers perform in the middle, hassling the audiences enthusiastically. I also had a great time at Pacific Park with my friends.
Los Angeles is so fun, that I seriously wish I can just move there.

Stay tuned for more of my late travel entries.!
